Answer

In California, a court cannot finalize your divorce prior to six months from when jurisdiction was acquired on the other party. However, depending on whether or not any of the issues within your case can be agreed upon, the actual process may take several years. Contreras Law Firm will be able to give you an estimate as to the timeline for your particular case once we have determined your goals and had initial discussions with the other side.
